Here’s a list of plastic model kits that I’d manufacture if I was a multi-billionaire (and that’s a hell of an if) and started my own plastic model company. Each kit is an example of something I feel has been missing from the store shelves, something I’d really like to have a good, well-designed, well-detailed model kit of. Some of the subjects listed have indeed been released as models, but not in the quality of, say, a good mass-produced styrene Tamiya or Hasegawa kit.

So, here’s a tentative and changeable list of what "JEPKITS" (that's my initials) Model Company’s catalog might include:

Aircraft:

All with fully detaled cockpits, photo-etched seat belts, detailed gun/bomb bays, wheel wells, detailed engines  and some photoecthed parts.

A series of prototype US aircraft that didn’t get into production, each with decals for the prototype, plus a couple of selections of spurious operational markings. Parts included for proposed weapons-fitted production models:

A series of "Luft '46" kits:

A series of 1/48 scale kits of Unlimited Reno air racers. Mustangs, Bearcats, Sea Furies, etc., with their racing modifications.
