Republic F-84G Thunderjet
Tamiya's 1/48 scale kit done in the colors of the 8th FBS, Taegu, Korea, 1952. I used ModelMaster buffing metalizers, buffed only with a tissue.

North American F-86D "Dog" Sabre
Monogram/Pro Modeler's 1/48 scale kit of the D-Model Sabre built OTB (Out of The Box) without modification. My first attempt at using Alclad metallic aluminum paint. Thankfully the photos are fuzzy enough to hide most of the screwups.

Lockheed F-104C Starfighter
The 104 has always been my favorite jet. I built this model as my first attempt at full coverage using Bare Metal Foil. Since it was not so serious a project, I also decided to paint it, just for the hell of it, in the glorious tail stripes of my Dad's WWII fighter squadron, as if the 333rd was still around in the early 60s and Dad had stayed in the service. I always thought the 104 would look good in those stripes, and I was right! Hasegawa 1/48 Scale kit.

McDonnell Douglas F-15A Eagle "Fast Eagle 104"
I built this 1/48 Hasegawa Hi-Tech kit for a local contest, the subject of which was "Tom Clancy Novels." I chose to model an F-15 that featured in "Red Storm Rising," flown by plucky lady fighter pilot Amy "Buns" Nakamura. Amy shot down a few Badger bombers and a couple of spy satellites, the latter using the ASAT missile. The plane's unit and the missile were real, so the kit and squadron markings were easy. I then made Amy's personal kill marks and name with homemade decals.

McDonnell Douglas F-15E Strike Eagle Prototype
Mc'Air modified their first F15A to F-15E standards to sell the project to the Air Force. Production E-models were all painted gray; the prototype was the only example to be painted in "Euro-1" camoflouge.

Variant of the F-15E Strike Eagle built specifically for Israel.
Revell/Monogram 1/48 kit modified with Cutting Edge resin parts and Isradecal decals.

Tupolev Tu-22 "Blinder" Supersonic Bomber
Russian Supersonic Strategic bomber, and one of the coolest-looking Soviet planes ever.
This is Italeri's 1/72 scale kit, sraight from the box in Iraqi markings, heavily weathered.
